Ideas can come from anywhere even the movies. We see a city highlighted in one of our favourite movies and feel it drawing us to explore more. This is one method I use when choosing my next destination. Movies I feel are inspirational or I can connect with the characters’ thoughts and ambitions. Continue reading “Movie Inspired Travel”
Beach Vibes
The beach life in Greece is different – very different to how we experience it back home. Here it is a different culture. It feels great to relax on the beach where you are served your drinks and meals direct to your sun bed. There is also music played across the beach in similar style to that of the clubs visited the night before. The Beach Clubs on the beaches of Mykonos feel sophisticated and fun. The Oracle – Counselor or Crazy
Everyone loves to hear stories of the gods and goddesses of ancient Greece. Yet little did we know how crazy these stories were. On a tour of mainland Greece, I was fortunate to hear about some of these stories – even some I was not aware of. Continue reading “The Oracle – Counselor or Crazy”

Mykonos Nights
I have seen many beautiful sunsets during my travels. Yet none so than the one I experienced in Mykonos. The place to be in early evening is Little Venice. Take up a prime position at a table with your choice of drink and settle in for the most spectacular show on earth. Continue reading “Mykonos Nights”
My Private Island
A quiet street, a moped zips by, chatter from the two older ladies on the balcony above – this is the other side of Mykonos waking up for another day. I sit in a cafe with a cappuccino, the coffee beans you can taste on the tip of your tongue, not burnt but roasted just right. It is a perfect time to sit outside and people watch as the town slowly comes to life. Continue reading “My Private Island”
A Restless Traveller
The restless traveller? Yes, that is me. Everytime I return home to Australia, I always want more and start planning my next big adventure. The travel bug never dies! Continue reading “A Restless Traveller”
