The quirky and unusual always make for interesting travel tales. This photo was taken during a rest stop on a tour across Canada. It was across the road from a McDonald’s of all places. I loved how creative the gardeners were, not to mention patient – as they shaped bushes into statues of people. And yes, that is an actual jacket the bush is wearing. A tour is sometimes the best option if you are unfamiliar with a new destination. Or if you want to sample the main highlights of a region to decide if it is worth a return visit. But most of all it is the best way to meet different people from across the world who share the same passion for travel as you. Continue reading “It’s Not Goodbye When The Tour Ends”

This week’s post is a photo gallery of my visit to the gorgeous Butchart Gardens in Canada. The Butchart Gardens were a highlight of my travels to Canada. It was amazing to see such dedication and detail put into each of the gardens. Walking from one to the next is literally like walking into another world. This was a magical journey of beauty that I would like to share with you all this week. So sit back and be transported to the gardens of paradise.
