Fringe in the New World

This week began the annual, world famous Adelaide Fringe Festival. However, it looks a little different this year with distancing protocols in place. The Garden of Unearthly Delights has been the place to be on a Friday and Saturday evening as friends and family met up to catch a random show.

This week began the annual, world famous Adelaide Fringe Festival. However, it looks a little different this year with distancing protocols in place. The Garden of Unearthly Delights has been the place to be on a Friday and Saturday evening as friends and family met up to catch a random show.

This year you will have to do a little pre-planning as the number of patrons admitted at any one time is limited. Pre-purchased ticket holders, of course, will be given priority. Remaining visitors will be on a first come first in basis.

If the Garden is full, head across the road to Gluttony for an equal evening of entertainment. Each venue has a host of intriguing and interesting acts to keep you entertained.

However, the carnival atmosphere is tipped to be as exciting as in past years.

But you do not have to be in the city to experience the best of the Fringe. No matter where you are in South Australia, you will be able to visit one of the regional Fringe shows from Naracoorte to Victor Harbor.

Despite the restrictions on visitor numbers, the Adelaide Fringe Festival promises a feast for all the senses. Not only will you see and hear some amazing artists, you will taste and smell some unique and some familiar food washed down with your favourite beer, wine, gin and soft drinks. Upon your exit, you will be left feeling energised and inspired by what you have seen.
