Living Italian in Adelaide

One way to escape into travel without leaving your country is to immerse yourself in an international movie festival. Over the past two weeks the Italian Film Festival provided that much needed escape to Bella Italia.

However, the cinema is not the only way in which you can experience Italy.

Adelaide is more of a cosmopolitan city than you may think. We have a large Italian population which means there are many Italian restaurants in which you can experience the taste of Italy at home.

One new Italian restaurant opened in the last couple of months simply called Ristorante Italy. It is located in the city’s East End on busy Rundle Street. The restaurant is bright, airy with modern decor and even includes a wood fired oven to make delicious pizza. However, the pasta menu is worth a try, especially the pesto Genovese.
