From the first time I visited Italy last decade, I fell in love with the country. The people, language, food, history and culture were etched into my mind forever. So it is little surprise I will head back there later this year.
To help inspire me, I looked through the photos I took during my visit in 2015. There were lots of memories and places where I would re-visit to experience the vibrancy of the Eternal City again.
The following video took me back to a hot, summer day in Rome. The Pantheon provided the perfect backdrop when I stopped to listen to a busker playing Ava Maria. It was a beautiful yet haunting tune and I had to stay and listen to the whole performance.
It is moments like this where slowing down and appreciating the local culture make for the best experiences.
